According to the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics, in July, the total retail sales of consumer goods reached 3,587 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%. Among them, the retail sales of consumer goods other than automobiles were 3,204.6 billion yuan, an increase of 1.9%. From January to July, the total retail sales of consumer goods were 24,630.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%. Among them, the retail sales of consumer goods other than automobiles were 22133.2 billion yuan, an increase of 0.2%.




In 2021 the total retail sales of cosmetics in China reached 402.6 billion yuan (about 61 billion Euros), with a compound growth rate of 10.13% since 2015. At present, skin care products have become the products that most residents in China will consume.




Vietnam is the largest beer consumer in Southeast Asia and ranks 9th in the world with more than 3.8 million kiloliters in 2020, accounting for 2.2% of the world. In the past ten years, the average alcohol and beer per person in Vietnam has more than doubled.




Cat-related products and services are one of the businesses helping drive the Thai pet market to an attractive growth. In 2018, the pet market was valued at 32,230 million baht (about 900 thousand Euro); in 2021, the value was 41,800 million baht (about 1.2 million Euro). Currently, the average spending per person per cat is 14,200 baht (about 400 Euro).
